
Contraindications for PMU

Please read carefully to determine if you are a candidate for permanent makeup!!
Cannot be currently on Chemo/Radiation
No eyelash extensions (eyeliner service)
Cannot be pregnant/breastfeeding
No Botox/fillers for at least 4 weeks prior/post treatment
Cannot be on blood thinners
Under the care of a medical provider for life threatening conditions
Prone to keloid scarring
Current active viral infections
Cannot have vascular eyelids (veins on the eyelids) for PMU Liner
Epilepsy
HIV/Hepatitis
Active acne/skin issues in the area of scheduled procedure, this can spread infection and lead to poor healed results and serious medical complications
Alcoholism/drug use
Trichotillomania
Current Accutane use (must be off for one year)
High blood pressure (must be controlled)
Heart issues/pacemaker
Cold sores (will need anti-viral medications pre and post treatment)
Autoimmune diseases this includes, but is not limited to; Lupus, Celiac Disease, or Multiple Sclerosis
Cannot have an active sunburn to the face.
No brow growth serums for at least three months pre and post treatment.
The following medications will prevent proper pigment retention and if you take any of these regularly, you should NOT get permanent makeup:
Triflusal (Disgren)
Clopidogrel (Plavix)
Prasugrel (Effient)
Ticagrelor (Brilinta)
Ticlopidine (Ticlid)
Cilostazol (Pletal)
Vorapaxar (Zontivity)
Dipyridamole (Persantine)
Coumadin
Pradaxia (Dabigatran)
Xarelto (Rivaroxaban)
Eliquis (Apixaban)
Savaysa (Edoxaban)
